Applescript Anyone?

While you'll never find us too far away from macscripter business as usual, this is where we post our personal entries, as well as stash some of our own offerings that are not Applescript centric. Should you be pining for that new website, please consider us in your next web development project.
Since 1999, Macscripter.net has achieved great status amoung Applescripters, second only to Apple's. I've generally avoided much public disclosure of myself, mostly, because in my mind I only felt it would be a distraction. I feel I owe Macscripter's success not only to those Principals who have helped me, but moreso to the great scripting community which exists. I can assure you that Applescript is alive and well. :>)
When we first started Macscripter, we did this in part due to frustration, and part to providing a genuine, collaborative effort based on Principalship. In 1999, all things Applescript were not as well supported as one might think. In those days, when I was searching the web for info on scripting, I was terribly frustrated. All one could find were websites that were subject to web-rot, broken links ... you name it. Applescript just wasn't supported like it should of been.
We wanted to fix that.
Macscripter is the largest Applescript centric website, second only to Apple's own. We divide Macscripter into complete, discrete sections, and depend on our Principalship to maintain and update each section as it's own entity.
